Breitling Navitimer Heritage Chronograph BT-202

If you follow art or craft blogs at all, you will be able to meet some of your favorite artists. City hall reporter Maggie Creamer and I met bloggers Elsie and Emma (from Red Velvet Art) Breitling Navitimer Chrono-Matic Quartz Chronograph BT-184 had our pictures taken with them. We were so excited, you would have thought we met Hollywood celebrities.

Where to go this weekend: Renegade is Saturday and Sunday at the Concourse Exhibition Center's East Hall, 620 7th St. Last time, we took BART and a bus to the fair, which made the trip pretty painless. You can take BART from Pleasanton and get off at the Civic Center Station in San Francisco. You can take the six block walk down 8th Street to Brannan, or take the Muni 19 bus, which drops you off at the Concourse.

Glancing back over the busy fall art season of 2010--a dizzying period of artistic activity more action-packed, diverse and popular than any in recent memory--a nearly endless stream of remarkable moments crops up in my memory.

There was a warm and hazy afternoon Breitling Navitimer Heritage Chronograph BT-202 late-September, when I propped myself against a building on Huron Street with a crowd of Buffalonians to watch as tightrope walker Didier Pasquette inched his way gracefully across a thin cable high atop the 23-story Liberty Building.

There were the 40 minutes I spent with the hilarious performance artist Jeremy Bailey in the Hallwalls bathroom, where he had set up shop as part of his fictional "New Media Institute."

There was the feeling of quiet unease I Breitling Navitimer Heritage Quartz Chronograph BT-185 as I walked beneath Dennis Maher's massive sculpture of salvaged fragments of demolished houses suspended by chains from the ceiling of the Burchfield Penney Art Center.

There was the feeling of fright and fascination that came from viewing a sculpture by local artist Adam Weekely in the Buffalo Arts Studio, the laughs I couldn't suppress when taking in Warren Quigley's tongue-in-cheek installation in the Western New York Book Arts Center and the sense of wonder that crept in as I looked Breitling Navitimer Quartz BT-195 across Buffalo from the top floor of City Hall, where an incredible installation of paintings by Bradley McCallum and Jacqueline Tarry remains on view through this afternoon.

And the list goes on. Most of Breitling Navitimer Montbrillant BT-4 moments have one important thing in common: they fall under the broad umbrella of Beyond/ In Western New York, a mammoth, wildly ambitious and meticulously planned region-wide exhibition showcasing the artists of our region and the collective power of the small, midsize and large institutions that make up our city's unique cultural industry.
